It is constructed with a carbon fiber outer stay and end cap, with a full titanium header tube and internal muffler structure, paired with high-quality titanium alloy for the headers, resulting in a complete system that is lighter than 44% compared to the standard one.Developed for use on closed-course racing circuits, this racetrack-oriented system requires mandatory remapping and removal of the passenger footpeg. It provides power and torque increases of 4.0 kW (5.4 hp) at 13,000 rpm and 3.8 Nm at 7,700 rpm when measured in a back-to-back comparison with an Aprilia RSV4 with a system as standard on the internal test bench. This race-developed system offers a distinctive deep and sporty sound, perfectly endorsing the Akrapovič character.
